Digital Media Planner
AllGear Digital is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Media Planner to support our Sales Team in developing media plans for direct-sold digital advertising campaigns across the AGD+ network, comprising owned and operated properties like GearJunkie, The Inertia and Bikerumor, as well as advertising network partners AllTrails, Teton Gravity Research and Backcountry. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible remote position with compensation based on factors including skills, experience and location.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop custom direct-sold digital media plans that align with client objectives and budget.
- Select and recommend appropriate ad formats, placements, and audience targeting strategies across our digital properties.
- Transcribe digital media plans into agency templates.
- Utilize historical data and industry benchmarks to forecast campaign performance and optimize media allocations.
- Prepare client-facing materials that clearly communicate the value and expected impact of the proposed media plans.
- Work closely with Ad Operations for product recommendations and inventory requests.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, ad formats, and performance metrics to continually refine media planning strategies.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in digital media planning for a digital publisher or ad agency.
- Demonstrated experience creating media plans for direct-sold advertising and sponsored content campaigns.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with experience working with CPMs, CTRs, audience targeting, and campaign performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets required; experience with Canva a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex media plans into clear client-facing documents.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
