Ad Ops Specialist & Media Planner
AllGear Digital is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Ad Ops Specialist & Media Planner to join our growing advertising team. The Ad Ops Specialist & Media Planner supports the planning and execution of digital advertising campaigns across AllGear Digital’s extended advertising network, which includes category-leading outdoor and active lifestyle brands like GearJunkie, The Inertia and Bikerumor. This is a full-time, hybrid role (associated with our Los Angeles office) ideal for an early career candidate eager to learn about digital advertising. Compensation will be based on skills and experience, and is expected to range from $55,000-$67,300 per year.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, trafficking, and QA of digital advertising campaigns across display, video, and branded content formats.
- Pull and interpret availability reports (avails) from ad servers such as Google Ad Manager (GAM) to inform media planning and campaign feasibility.
- Enter campaign details into media templates and insertion orders with precision and adherence to client deadlines.
- Utilize historical data and industry benchmarks to forecast campaign performance and optimize media allocations.
- Monitor live campaigns to ensure proper delivery, pacing, and performance across platforms.
- Collaborate with Sales and Campaign Management to implement optimizations and troubleshoot delivery issues.
- Maintain organized documentation of campaign setups, tags, screenshots, and reporting assets.
- Compile post-campaign metrics and performance summaries using tools such as GAM, Google Analytics, and third-party verification platforms.
- Support continuous improvement of internal ad operations and media planning processes and documentation.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in ad operations and/or media planning for a digital publisher or ad agency.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with experience working with CPMs, CTRs, audience targeting, and campaign performance metrics.
- Proficiency in GAM and Excel/Google Sheets required; experience with Canva a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
